Biggest Loser Couple Tie the Knot!

After three years together — and a combined weight loss of more than 200 pounds — The Biggest Loser: Couples' Nicole Brewer and Damien Gurganious have said I do, Usmagazine.com exclusively reports.
And while the now 145-pound stylist, 38, tells Us she felt "absolutely beautiful" in her figure-bearing Amsale tulle gown (paired with 11-plus carats in diamonds), she's even more stoked to don a bathing suit during their upcoming honeymoon in Cape Cod, Mass.

"I want it to be a red two-piece," she says. "I can’t wait!"

I am happy Nicole found love with a person who has the same health goals as her. Yet, why can't being getting healthy be enough. Why she got to obsess about getting into a bikini. We really have to redefine our goals as a society and get ready of the Bikini definition of health.

  1. I stumbled upon your blog name in somebody's side bar and had a bit of a "how the fuck have I not found and followed this blog already?" moment.

I know it's very yesterday, but to comment down a post, Slate has argued that once you consider the whole life cycle, charcoal is in fact greener than gas as long as you're using an environmentally sound brand. Buying a new grill would also cause a whole bunch of waste too. As long as you're happy with charcoal, stick with it. Charcoal grilling also has the added bonus of being oh-so-delicious, but I'll admit that's a somewhat subjective factor.

I'm going to have to both agree and disagree as far as her being excited about the bikini. While I agree there's a lot to be said for society as a whole accepting other definitions of health beyond looking great in a bikini, if a bikini is what's going to make her happy, more power to her.
