Jason Alexander New Face of Jenny Craig

Comedian Jason Alexander unveils his new slimmed-down figure with classic self-deprecating hilarity in a new Jenny Craig commercial, airing today. “Take a look, drink it in,” he sings while clad in a skin-tight outfit. “I was fat, now I’m thin!” The actor, who signed on as a spokesman for the weight loss program in January, has since shaved off 30 lbs. from his starting weight of 195 lbs.

Click above for a peak at the TV ad. Talking about Jenny Craig spokespeople is one of "my things". So here I go.

1. I am glad to see a man exploited.
2. I am also glad to see a man in skimpy outfits for no apparent reason. If Valerie and Kristie got to be in a Swimsuit. I want to see Jason in one also.
3. Out of all of the diet plans, I give Jenny Craig 10 out of 10 for advertising.

Kirstie Alley: Getting Fat "Was the Greatest Thing in the World"

Even though Kirstie Alley is trying to slim down on her reality show Big Life, she admits she had a blast packing on the pounds.

But after Alley discovered she weighed 230 pounds, she was horrified -- especially after she'd touted her 75-pound weight loss on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2006.

She credits Scientology for helping her come to terms with the weight gain.

"Scientology helps you lose your insanities. One of the keys is to say, 'You're in charge of your life, buster. You're responsible for any condition you're in,'" she says. "I've been irresponsible many, many, many times and that has resulted in me being fat."

Kirstie Alley is just crazy. If Scientology made her stop being insane, she wouldn't be such a Yo-yo dieter. I have seen her new show and I think all the tousled hair is what make her look older and heavier then she needs to look.

I am all for losing weight. Yet, you got to dress the body you got now. When I get to goal weight I want to shop at White House Black Market . Until then, I have been buying any black and white dress I can get from Lane Bryant. I have about 10 now.

So Kirstie don't give up, but don't continue to delude yourself.

Sara Rue Loses 25 Lbs. on Jenny Craig

A little more than two months ago, Jenny Craig’s newest spokeswoman, Sara Rue, announced to PEOPLE her goal of losing 30 lbs. with the program. After five days she had dropped 7 lbs., and now, just nine weeks after she began she’s already shed 25 lbs. — and can’t wait to lose the final 5.

I am sorry but I am calling foul. We here at Fat Feminist Fitness Blog have been very critical of Valerie Bertinelli and Kirstie Alley while working with Jenny Craig. Yet, neither of them lost 25 lbs in 2 months. Here is the link to the video of Valerie Bertnelli talking about losing 18 lbs in 7 weeks.

Book Review: How to Lose Your Ass and Regain Your Life

How to Lose Your Ass and Regain Your Life by Kirstie Alley is her book about the year before she did Jenny Craig. It was a very funny book.

She talks about her Cocaine abuse. She talks about the weight loss benefits of the drug. Yet, she really talks about the pain it brings with it, unlike Valerie Bertinelli did in her book. Kirstie Alley says the a Dianetics: The Modern Science Of Mental Health and Scientology got her off cocaine after one session. She also states that it help her get to the root of her weight gain. She says the weight started to come on after her miscarriage.

Well since this book is pre-Jenny Craig we know that something went wrong in her journey since she gained the weight back.

In my opinion, this book is very funny but not very deep. So if you have the time pick it up. If you don't your aren't missing great wisdom.

Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time

We at FFFB are often discussing Valerie Bertinelli. In order to be fair, I wanted to read more about her. So I read her book. Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time . She is so out of touch with reality. I felt that she spent the whole book talking about other peoples problems and not seeing her part in it. She talks about being on the "Cocaine Diet" but she did not believe that it was an eating disorder, disordered eating, or a drug problem. She talks about doing drugs with Mackenzie Phillips, but describes how she distances herself from her after the arrest. She kept saying she was such a good person and so thankful for her parents rules even though she constantally talks about breaking those rules.

The one thing I did learn from book that I always suspected, Jenny Craig recruits they celebrity spoke people and pays them a lot of money. She said she got with Jenny Craig threw her agent even though she knew Kirstie Alley from her kids school.
