Mike Huckabee Slams Natalie Portman's Out-of-Wedlock Pregnancy

Us Magazine reports that Mike Huckabee says: "People see a Natalie Portman who boasts, 'We're not married but we're having these children and they're doing just fine," Huckabee told radio host Michael Medved on his show Monday. "I think it gives a distorted image. It's unfortunate that we glorify and glamorize the idea of out-of- wedlock children."

I think shows like MTVs Teen Mom show the other side of the single motherhood also if any woman looks at the single mother in their neighborhood knows it is not a bed of roses. So I think his comments are just sensational.

For me the bigger concern is the money spent on fertility treatments for people like Mariah Carey (41), Halle Berry (40 ) , Kelly Preston ( 48), Celine Dion (42) make it seem like having a baby at 40 is easy and anybody can do it. I think that is the most hurtful pregnancy trend coming out of Hollywood.

Mainstreaming Abuse

A Seattle Washington man named Graydon Smith was under ARREST for abusing his pregnant girlfriend. But he has an INTERESTING DEFENSE to the claim of domestic violence - his girlfriend SIGNED A CONTRACT, allowing him to BEAT HER!!!

His defense is that the contract he signed is like the ones boxers use. It was even notarized. I would like in investigation into the notary. I want to know if they even read this contract.

I do not believe that a 19 year woman and 31 year old man can be described on equal footing to enter a contract like this. When boxers do it they are certified to be in the same weight class and athletic ability.

Teens: Rhythm Method Causing More Pregnancies

Mike Stobbe writes " A growing number of teen girls in America say they use the rhythm method for birth control, and more teens also think it's OK for an unmarried female to have a baby, according to a government survey released Wednesday. "

We need to get a handle on sex education in America. Young women are risking their health out of stupidity.
