I will do so with a critical eye--examining how anti-fat bias, economics, class, sexism, urban (suburban and rural) development deprives us of satisfying movement, and how health is collective and personal.
I am glad for his weight loss. Yet, I think he played important role as a overweight husband married to an overweight wife. Shows like the King of Queens and According Jim created the illusion that fat men end up with sexy women.
Those shows created a illusion that so many people in Fat Acceptance were and still are happy to exploit and use to create a "separate but equal" Fat Acceptance for Fat Men.
I'm fat and sexy as hell.
